Safety you can verify, not just trust
Cleanliness and compliance are not extras here — they shape every hour of the day and are documented for parents.
SC DSS Licensed
We operate under South Carolina Department of Social Services child care licensing standards, with our license and inspection information available to every family on request.
Handwashing & Hygiene
Handwashing happens at arrival, before and after meals, after toileting, and after outdoor play — guided by our illustrated handwashing poster.
Daily Health Checks
Each child is briefly checked at arrival, and any signs of illness are documented and communicated to parents right away.
Emergency Procedures
Posted emergency and evacuation charts, practiced drills, and a documented plan for weather, fire, and medical events.
Secure Arrival & Pickup
Authorized-pickup lists, sign-in and sign-out records, and a controlled entry to the learning space.
Clean & Sanitized Spaces
Toys, tables, and rest areas are sanitized on a set schedule, with separate handling for anything mouthed or soiled.
SC DSS standards
South Carolina publishes the regulations every licensed child care provider must meet. We encourage parents to read them and to ask us how we meet each one.
